New Way of Representation

Multiple scales..

Drawings coming alive....

Drawings growing out of the paper..

The building forming from the very fiber of the paper material itself...

As if the building exists and a infinate sheet of paper pressed the rear of the building flat into elevation...

The Building- extruding from the paper.. Becomes interdimensional.

A long section. Lonely.. sits by itself on a wall.. Suddenly, there are zones designated around certain aspects and spatially important spaces in the section.. they are zoned out and targeted. These squares.. grow.. double.. three times... four timesss.. they become closer to actual proportion... they grow out of the paper....

My drawdel represents this specific element. Its character.. unique..

Capturing spatial elements,,... sectional elements,,... and the production process.. People move throught this architecture.. the architecture becomes the process. Is it hard and cold? is it structural?

One must look beyond the reinforced waffle slab.

This becomes a dialog of man vs machine..

This becomes a dialog of Large vs small..

This becomes a dialog of reincarnation.

Cradle to cradle? perhaps. But what if there is never actually a cradle?

An infinite circulation. Processies never end.

In Thinking about thinking about design...

Im changing the system. Manhattan uses paper and metal recycling, everything else ends up in the landfill... Im creating a system that will regulate the way people think about trash. I am proposing a system for the people of manhattan to recycle their compost waste. It would come to my designed facility, where, would in turn be processed into neutrient rich soil which is used, on site, for public community gardens.

These are some of my study and process models as I Begin the design process.
